Mexico Tourism and Vacation Travel

Post image of Mexico Tourism and Vacation Travel

The country of Mexico is rich in history and culture that is unique.  Mexico has something interesting to offer for every tourist from the young to the more experienced.  Whether you are an adventurous traveler or someone that is looking for a more relaxed experience.  Mexico offers many interesting and unique opportunities to enjoy your vacation.

When you are in Tlaxcala you can visit Palacio De Gobierno, the former palace of the viceroys, where Cortés stayed when he was in Tlaxcala, which now commemorates the history of the region’s people. Covering the interior walls of the 16th-century palace are immense, brilliantly colored examples of Mexican muralism.

You could also visit the Virgin of Ocotlán, which is the patron saint of Tlaxcala and the neighbouring state of Puebla. This Immaculate Conception Statue, whose history goes back to the 1500’s, is one of the most venerated and historical objects of Catholicism in the modern culture of Mexico.

For those of you that are more interested in more scenic and rustic travel in Mexico you can visit the Copper Canyon area. Or you could travel to the other side of Mexico and visit many sites of interest in the Mayan Riviera.

Of course there are always the warm and inviting beaches on the Caribbean Coast of Mexico to the charming out of the way fishing villages along the Gulf of California. In between these interesting and vastly different Mexico tourist areas are thousands of other travel destinations in Mexico. Each with their own character and unique lifestyle from the fast paced grind of a modern tourist trap to the relaxed sooner or later pace which is more representative of the true culture in Mexico.
